Character Creation Walk-through

The first step is to locate the Bio Form, which can be found [here]. If you have yet to read Human Semblance’s storyline, you can do so [here.] It will make the character creation process much easier if you choose to.

Statistics ~
* Stamina: 100
This statistic is used during combat and represents your character’s health. It starts at 100 and may be increased through augmentations. When this reaches 0, your character will lose consciousness. When reaching -25, death results.
* Endurance: 100
Endurance is the resource responsible for the execution of various skills. If you're slugging a zombie's skull with a bat, you're gonna get tired. It can also be used to resist assaults that bind the body. You may use as much Endurance as you wish when using your powers. Essentially, it’s a bidding battle where the objective is to force your opponent to run out of Endurance to spend to defend with. If, for example, 50 was spent for an offensive ability, those points will represent its potential damage. Skills may be blocked/overpowered by other attacks that have more damage in them. Be careful though; don't break the weapon or you won't have anything left to break things with.

    NOTE: : This returns at a rate of 10 per post your powersets are not in use by default.

Power ~
* Primary Power Set:
You may select a primary power set. The primary power set dictates your main abilities. Everyone will have a power set which will reflect what they are best at. Your powers must be selected from the Power List. Your power sets will have specific, preset abilities that must be accepted by a staff member before they are used.
* Secondary Power Set:
You may select a secondary power set. The secondary power set is your subordinate abilities. These are the things that are generally more defensive or offer more utility. Sometimes, the secondary power set helps better your main specialties and makes you a lot more capable of taking on your role. Again, these are usually defensive if your main role is offense and offensive if your main role is a form of support.
* Character Ranking:
This determines your character’s overall strength. When you first create your character, they have a ranking of E. Every 50 in character posts you do you get up one rank. This will result in 2 new abilities. It’s your choice if you choose to create 2 new abilities from your Primary Power Set. Every rank you may only create 1 new ability for your Secondary Power Set. You start with 2 at your first ranking (E), and 1 for your Secondary Power Set.
Abilities possess a power that represents the rank they were created in. At E Rank expect your abilities to be a little on the 'crude' side. If you're into the weapons, don't be surprised if at E Rank you find yourself bashing zombies with 'okay' expertise with a golf club. Hey, you gotta do what you gotta do. At higher rankings expect to pull off combos that would awe even the best black belts in a combat sequence. It determines how many things you can hit in one action. Mind you that if you're trying to beat someone else's face in, then they can attempt to interrupt your actions at anytime, so having higher ranking techniques is beneficial.
Guns initially have a set amount of damage; each bullet has a potential base damage of 50. More damaging guns such as revolvers, sniper rifles, shotguns when in close range, do 75. Grenades, Rocket Launchers, and other explosives do 100 and are treated as critical hits unless the target has something reinforcing their physical body. Guns do not drain Endurance but do have ammo. The ammo varies depending on what type of gun you are using, which also reflects on the rank of creation. You don't want to be in the way of a bullet; they can easily pull off critical hits.
* SP:
This stands for Semblance Points. You gain 5 for each post you make. If you don't prefer finding weapons along your RPing experience, you can use these points to buy and potentially make upgrades to your already existing weapons. It's a great idea to seek plenty of RPs to quickly accumulate these to get weapons to accommodate even the most brutish of fighters and not just a stick. Please place a permit for weapons bought through these means on the permit board.

* Guns: The nefarious firearms that shoot bullets to make skulls spit blood like busted watermains. Pricey, takes ammunition and definitely makes noise, but powerful. Prices range between 50-150 SP.

* Axes/Swords/Melee Weapons: Maybe you just like to chop down the living dead like lumber, or maybe you want to eviscerate them like a samurai. No matter what your preference is, you may acquire these as well. Make them wish you had guns when you run out of bullets. Prices range between 10-150 SP.

Weapon DMG: Weapons add a set amount of damage to your striking formula. Thus, if you hit with 30 Endurance, and the bat you got permitted makes it do an additional 30, then in total you'd do 60 damage.
